The Finnhorse is the only breed that is completely bred in Finland. It is some times called a Finnish Universial as it is considered suitable for almost all uses of the horse in Finland. Technical information
Vieno is a perfect, large sized, all-round hobby horse with a well-balanced stick. It is easy to ride and therefore works very well for both beginners and more experienced riders. The hobby horse is made of durable Velboa fabric and the mane of blond yarn. The hobby horse is made by skilled craftsmen in Finland. The shadows are painted by an artist and can vary from the image. Each horse is its own and the idea is that they should not be identical. The stick is made of birch and it is turned and treated by a carpenter. Thanks to the metal sleeve on the stick, the stick can easily be unscrewed and packed in a bag. Measurements can be found in the table below.

What’s the difference between PRO and BASIC hobbyhorses?
Both are handmade high quality hobby horses. The PRO hobby horse is made of more pieces of fabric, it has more painted shadows, a more realistic eye, a detachable stick (perfect for traveling) and comes in a really neat box.
